Nathan – Level 2 Practitioner

Nathan initially studied a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) out of a passion for exercise and human movement. This entailed resistance training, rugby union, tennis and athletics. Driven by his passion for sport, Nathan worked as a Sports Trainer, which built his passion for exercise-based rehabilitation. Along Nathan’s journey within sport, he developed a keen

interest in sports performance, leading to a transition to Strength and Conditioning Coaching. He has worked for multiple organisations across multiple codes of sport within performance enhancement and rehabilitation roles, most notably VFL/VFLW Casey Demons Football Club.

Nathan’s passion for exercise prescription led to continued study. He completed a Master of Clinical Exercise and Rehabilitation at Victoria University in 2022, earning him as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist from Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). Nathan believes in the power of exercise for health and well-being. Nathan has experience working within private practice settings treating chronic musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic and mental health conditions, including lower-back pain, osteoporosis, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and depression.

Outside of the clinic, Nathan trains as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, enjoys surfing, playing piano, listening to a wide array of music genres and consuming science-fiction/fantasy art form through novels, movies and miniatures.
