Celebrating Diversity: Belgravia Leisure Stands Proud for LGBTQIA+ Youth on Wear It Purple Day

At Belgravia Leisure, we proudly supported Wear It Purple

Our commitment is simple: everyone is welcome. We ensure our facilities, programs and services across Australia and New Zealand are safe spaces where everyone can be themselves, every day.

Here’s how some of our venues joined in the celebration.

Mill Park Leisure

At Mill Park Leisure, the venue embraced the theme by promoting a message of inclusivity and support for the LGBTQIA+ community. The team invited everyone to participate by hosting a free Zumba class and encouraged participants to wear purple and bring their enthusiasm to dance for diversity and inclusion.Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre

TRAC held a morning tea which was a wonderful opportunity for team members and members and guests to come together, enjoy a bite to eat and show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community. The morning tea was a perfect way to start the day, fostering conversations about inclusivity and acceptance.

Knox Leisureworks

Knox also proudly celebrated by wearing purple in support of rainbow young people acknowledging that everyone has the right to be proud of who they are.

At Belgravia Leisure, our commitment to inclusivity and acceptance goes beyond Wear It Purple Day. Every day, we work towards creating environments where everyone feels seen, heard and valued. Together, let’s continue to celebrate diversity and strive for a more inclusive future.
